![]() buy abrasive blasting media in Northern California. They are only listed on there web page spendy for HF but mine has lasted 3yrs in a commercial app no problems. The low oil carryover protects your tools and equipment from damage. Works great for what it is I get clean dry air no more water blowing out the tools when working but it gets humid here. Harbor Freight actually sells a good little refrigeration unit. I would also look at getting an air drier especially if painting or blasting. And am supprised it lasted as long as it has lol. But I change the oil evey 2-3 months which is about every 200-300hrs and run synthetic in it. I plan on getting a Quincy 7.5hp 3p to replace my kobolt 80 here soon but again I use mine daily for 8hrs a day 5-6days a week. The Quincy may be quieter though most likely. I would get the eastwood just on larger tank size and yours is not a commercial app. My plasma table only triggers the compressor on larger cut files on a 80gal. QUINCY ILL HENRY PRATT CO CGO ILL HENRY PRATT CO DIXON ILL GEO D ROPER CORP PKFG ILL FEDERAL MOGUL CORP DET MICH NORTHERN ORDNANCE MPLS MINN NORTHERN. And most air tools will run a while on 80gal. The only sandblaster both those will run is a siphon cabinet type and both will run while blasting at those rated CFM so tank size won't matter anyway and a pressure blaster forget about it might get 15min of blasting before it has to catch up. ↳ Pen Markers, Remote Controls, Drawing Tablets, etc.Click to expand.I guess i missed it being dual stage part.Maintain or extend the life of your warranty by using only genuine Quincy Compressor parts and consumables. ↳ Fab Tables, Grind Stations, Material Storage & Handling The Quincy Compressor 2,000 Hour Maintenance Kit is designed to keep your Quincy compressor or vacuum pump running at peak performance and has been proven to provide the best protection for your investment.↳ Water Tables, Ventilation, Air Handling.↳ Air Dryers, Air Filters, Air Compressors, Etc.↳ Metal Bending, Rolling, Notching, Drilling, Saw Cutting.↳ Mig Welders, Tig Welders, Spot Welders.↳ EasyScriber for Hypertherm, Thermal Dynamics, Razorweld, Esab.↳ EasyScriber Drag Style Scriber for Hypertherm.↳ Steel F/X Your Metal Patina & Dye Connection.↳ Quick & Helpful CorelDRAW Tutorial Videos.↳ DIY Plasma Table & Accessory Discussion Forum.↳ RazorWeld, Everlast, & All Other Plasma Cutters.↳ Thermal Dynamics / Esab Plasma Cutters.↳ Displaying the Powermax 65 85 Service Screen.↳ Powermax 65 & 85 Common Fault Code, Diagnotics, & Troubleshooting Forum.↳ Powermax Fault Code, Diagnostics, & Troubleshooting Forums.↳ Powermax SYNC 65, 85, 105 Cut Speed Charts.↳ Pricing, Advertising, & Marketing Your Products Forum.↳ Hypertherm's Tips to Troubleshoot Cut Angularity.↳ Hypertherm's 10 Common Plasma Cutting Mistakes.↳ Hypertherm's Basic Tips to Improve Cut Quality.↳ CNC Plasma Cutter Project Picture Gallery.↳ DXF Art - DXF Clip Art File Sharing Forum.DXF DESIGN & PROJECT PICTURE SHARING FORUMS.↳ Contributing Membership Registration or Renewal.WELCOME CENTER, GOOD INFO & MEET OUR SPONSORS.I have 1 warranty kit that will sit for a while at my rate of use. I think they recommend 100hr change intervals. I installed an hour meter before i ever started it up and I'm only at 5.5 hours 4 months later. Iwasn't aware you had to change it yearly for the warranty, i thought you just did it by his run. But with such light usage it really hurts to cough up the $80.00 every year for the maintenance kit. After 5 years I'll have enough oil left over from all the maintenance kits to last me another 5 years. I only run the compressor when I'm in the shop (usually on weekends). I only change the oil according to the recommended hours of operation in the manual (I added an hour meter to the compressor when I first installed it) so I only change it about once a year. But not much you can do if you want to keep your 5 year warranty going the full five years. I think this is a huge rip off by Quincy and an even bigger rip off if you compare the price of their Quin Cip oil to other equivalent oils. When I first purchased the compressor I asked the dealer why the maintenance kit was so expensive he said it was because it extends your warranty. He said let me check your account, and came back and said you're right my bad, and sold me the maintenance kit. I told him that they told me in order to keep the 5 year warranty I had to buy the maintenance kit. He said I could purchase the Quincy oil and filters separately a lot cheaper. The new guy at the Quincy dealer at first brought out 2 quarts of Quincy oil and the filter and I told him that in the past they always sold me the maintenance kit. Just picked up my third maintenance kit for $80.00. QT54 has been a great compressor, kind of noisy though.
